Elevator Pitch No.1

Sometimes, dryers don't do their job and your clothes is still wet after a cycle. Having to put it in for another cycle not only takes more of your time but it also means using up more electricity. This equals higher electric bills and angry people.

In comes your solution to this problem, PolyDry. PolyDry is a dryer sheet that is made of superabsorbant polymers which are molecules that can absorb and retain liquids relative to their own mass. You just insert one or two of these dryer sheets, depending on the size of your load, and it absorbs much of the water from your wet clothes, drying it much quicker so you can go about the rest of your day.

  1. I tend to have this problem alot, as well as my family back home. Usually as the years wear out the dryers they become less efficient. I think your idea is great and clever. As well as saving time, you are saving electricity, helping the environment and essentially saving money. What about smaller loads of clothing? What is your target market for this product over the years?
Great idea, and good luck !

  2. Hi I think that idea is awesome! Especially for your sheets and towels! I as so use to them not being dry that I just put them on for another cycle because I already know they are not dry. If I had those I would probably put a few of them in the dryer to speed things up a bit. Great job!

  3. Carolina, you have an amazing idea! I was actually just dealing with this problem today. I realized that these days I do not even expect my clothes to be dry after one dryer cycle, it will definitely need an extra rotation. If you get a chance, I would love if you could check my pitch and let me know what you think. My idea deals with finding college students temporary jobs to get quick money.
